About Covid-19
In December 2019 the outbreak of the coronavirus started in Wuhan, China. As everyone knows, the virus spreads quickly and has officially been labelled a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO).
To contain the coronavirus in the Netherlands the Dutch Government has taken additional measures to control the virus as much as possible in order to protect vulnerable groups. When people don’t have physical contact, they cannot infect others and coronavirus does not spread.
The measures to control the virus as much as possible apply until April 28 (inclusive). What does this mean:
- Everyone in the Netherlands should stay at home as much as possible. Even if you have mild cold symptoms, such as a sore throat, a mild cough or a temperature below 38 degrees Celsius, you should stay at home.
- If someone in your household develops a fever, all members of the household should stay home.
- The authorities will take action against groups of more than 2 people who are not keeping a 1.5 metre distance from one another. The physical distancing rule does not apply to family members or other people that you live with.
- All bars, cafés and restaurants are closed until 28 April (inclusive). Meal delivery and takeaway services will remain open.
- All public places such as casinos, sports clubs, gyms, saunas and sex clubs are closed until 28 April (inclusive).
- All public events are prohibited until the first of June.
- The government urges people to stay at home as much as possible, also during Easter Weekend.
Which measurements did Eindhoven One take?
As ever, the safety and security of our employees, partners and tenants our number one priority. We maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In light of the rapidly evolving Coronavirus, we are trying our best to sustain normal and affordable accomodation & real estate management services, while taking suitable precautionary measures to safeguard the health and safety of our employees, partners and tenants. Our apartments are still bookable, but the viewings will be held in smaller groups.
We made some adjustments to our cleaning protocol to ensure both your health and safety as well as that of our cleaners. Our cleaners will clean the public areas (including stairwell, laundry room, door handles, etc.) wearing gloves and replace them after every cleaning. Also, we ask our cleaners team to keep a distance of 1.5 meters from residents and guests.
Health advice for everyone:
- Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 second, then dry them thoroughly
- Wash your hands often: before you go out, when you come home, after blowing your nose, before meals and of course after going to the toilet.
- Stay 1.5 metres (2 arms lengths) away from other people
- Do not shake hands
